Hey BC...

Post by ML1 » March 23rd, 2004, 2:33 pm

At lunch today I picked up a copy of MO Game & Fish. There is a very good article in it about Side-Creek Slabs and it has some words of wisdom by you. Image

When I was little my Dad would take me to Cuivre River and we would catch alot of crappie and whites but, I couldn't remember how early in the year we went, now I know. Thanks, ML

It's not me! If it had been, everyone would want an autograph photo of me for their girlfriends! But the article is about me. Image Image Image

Bruce - I just talked to buddy that fished MTL on Saturday and they didn't do well. Finally caught some late in the day but not enuf to dirty the fillet knife. Don't have many details but they fished from 9:30ish 'til dark...

Just a couple of areas at MT have been producing. Specific waters that are different have been doing well. If you don't know those areas you may have to burn a tank of gas finding them. I stayed off those waters because of the forecast for high winds and thunderstorms. Partner chose to not fish the poor weather. will be there Satruday with bells on!

It was a rough weekend. It was really windy and muddy on Saturday. Some people in the know caught crappie but they were few and far between.

My neighbor and partner caught 22 fish on Saturday and he is like Bruce he was born and raised on the river and even knows where Corn Picker Point is and so do I now, lol.

Bruce your end of the lake is even worse than mine. My daughter says her lake looks like chocolate milk Image
