Imus and da ho's

I don't give a crap for Imus and am not a listener, but I do have a question about his situation. Why is it that rap/hip-hop stations can play songs all day long about pimps, nappy-headed hos and all sorts of other chit degrading women, but when Imus does it he gets a 2 week suspension?

Roscoe - I agree, but people like Rev. Al aren't smart enough to figure that out. People like him count it as a "victory". Besides, Imus doesn't have any room to be criticizing anybody's looks....anybody taken his pulse lately to see if he's actually alive?

I listen to Imus almost every morning, but that is one day I missed it. I agree that what he said was probably objectionable, but any time something is said racially by a white man all heck breaks loose and someone needs to lose his job. I wonder why if a black man says something about whitey(GWH?) nothing is ever said about him losing his job? Seems like we have gotten to the point there are 2 sets of rules.

Just wait and see the deal about Pacman Jones being suspended by the NFL being racially motivated. Kind of reminds me of Floyd Irons, basketball coach at Vashon. If you yell loud enough about racial this and racial that, the other party will eventually back down.

If you all have never watched Imus, he is an equal opportunity attacker. He puts down everyone, and that is what makes the show entertaining. I laugh at the skits and all every morning. He is an old crusty fart, but that is what makes him good...I bet he would fit in well here....You know the more I think about it, maybe MOCraig is really Imus.

Bob & Tom suck. A few hours of desperate attempts at humor, and annoyingly fake laughter. I have listened to them several times, and only once did they make me laugh. That was the time they had monks chanting to Helll`s Bells as background music.
