Did You Vote Yet?

Post by Tigerhaze » November 4th, 2008, 9:56 am

I'm waiting until after work to vote myself- I want to do a little more research on a couple of local issues here in KC (such as the light rail plan).

I was wondering how heavy turnout was- it looked really heavy at my polling place as I drove by to work.

Drove past a polling place down here in Kimberling City this am at about 5 min. past 6 and there must have been about 150 cars parked all over the place. I thought there must have been a sale or something.. :rotflmao:

I waited about an hour and went in a voted in less than 5 minutes. :smokin:

I ended up voting at 6:45 pm and there was no one else there except for the polling officials. The same place was packed that morning. I figured I would wait until all the yahoos waiting in line got done. :jmplgh:

I think I'll go vote after work today. It looked like there was nobody in line at all this morning.

Yep, and I was beside my self with joy to see the 20 year Sheriff of Phelps county finally removed.. 'Held a grudge against the man for 20 years. 'Som beaotch pulled me over in a '73 'stang 20 years ago and made a show of it so he would look good in front of the suits passing in a funeral procession . Car fits a description my arse :flippa: :arse:

I had to stay overnight in the Phelps County Jail once (the old one, not the nice new courthouse). The deputy wasn't too bad towards me...treated me better than the Rolla Police Dept!
