Just got the boat fix, put the bow and camera down. are the girls on the bank yet. heard the boys where there but did they move out with this front, LP

Where were you fishing? Late for LoO and Truman, but may have still been good at MTL.

Best bite has been just before May the last 10 years, but you can still get them on the banks the first week of May. MTL really starts kicking about the middle of May, and some years you can still catch them on the beds at the dam end of LoO around that time.

Crappie have been good on tributaries of Truman- like Dave says it is pretty late for them on the lake banks but has been a weird spring season. I caught near my limit on Sunday from a major trib of Truman.

I also caught a good number of channel cats as well as the crappie, and they seem to be moving towards spawn.
