Ice Fishing in Missouri

Post by Tigerhaze » February 24th, 2021, 8:31 pm

With the recent Artic blast it was actually possible this winter to finally go ice fishing on farm ponds in Missouri. A friend of mine has access to a couple of private ponds. At the start of the Artic blast the ice was only around 5 inches but at the end late last week it got to 9 inches thick. We used both poles and tip ups; ended up getting a number of large bass with minnows along with crappie and bluegill with the waxworms. I'll post a photo when I get a chance.
